After the departure of a main source of local news, the city of Winter Park was at a standstill when it came to having a reliable resource. Noticing the need in our community and the opportunity to share news with our neighbors, Findsome & Winmore created the32789.
Findsome & Winmore evaluated the demographics and psychographics of our area and crafted a plan to reach our community efficiently. To enter the web with purpose, we recognized the32789 needed to be more than a news site or social media account, it needed to be a brand. In addition to a notable brand identity, we crafted a business model to support our efforts through sponsorship, advertising, sponsored content and memberships. After developing a custom, fast performing site through WordPress, we made our way into the digital space.

Despite its launch amidst COVID-19’s stay-at-home era, the32789 found its way from our agency to the people of Winter Park. Within two days, we reached 400 unique subscribers. By week two, we’d earned over 17,000 total impressions and over 1,700 engagements across our social channels. Through dedicated journalism, the32789 will continue providing news for Winter Park residents and tourists alike. We’re proud to aid our neighbors in being more informed to make the best decisions and strengthening their connection to our community. Since the inception of the32789 it is growing exponentially every week.
